Mission Possible
I went to Mission Possible this morning with some Emily Carr and SFU students & staffs to host an art session for people who reside in the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood. We were supposed to do self-portraits today but some visitors were too shy to pick up a pen and decided to ask us to draw them a portrait instead.
Here are some of the drawings that I did within the two hours:
Near the end of the session, both James--a currently Emily Carr 3rd year student--and I were asked to do a portrait for a man named John. It was my first time using watercolour pencils, so it took me a while to get used to it. I think it's a smartly designed art medium and is very easy to handle. I will definitely draw with them again.
- The left one was done by John and the right one by me.
