Here is first promotional video for my church's upcoming youth camp "SOUL.ution." Though the final product turns out pretty different than the storyboard, it still works quite well.

And then among all the drawings that I did, I am most satisfied with a line sketch drawing of the girl sitting in front of me, ha...

Worldcup + BBQ + Poolside Party

First of all, congrats on Spain for winning the 2010 World Cup Championship!!!!! You guys are the best!!!!!!

And then I am sorry for being late with my update because the weather was JUST TOO NICE last week, I had to go out to play with my friends! :)

*I decided to take a break from texturing this time.*

Yesterday my church fellowship had a Worldcup + BBQ + Poolside Party; it was ultra fun! I got thrown into the water three times and almost drowned on the third time ('cuz I don't know how to swim...). We also had water gun fights, poolside wrestling, "conquer the oversized dolphin" rides, springboard jumping, and sun tanning. Basically the routine was: we played and ate, and then ate more and played more. We stayed on the deck till around sunset, then we moved inside the house to play card games and iPad, or watch TV/ movie. Many people started leaving at around 9pm, but I stayed till 10pm when the party officially ended.

I really hope we can have another pool party before summer ends!

Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3rd Story

Today was so hot... 35°C and no air con in the house!!!!
I suffered so much when I did this drawing... My left hand was frying on a close-to-overheated Macbook for hours, and there were times when I felt I couldn't breathe because the air in my room was just too hot...
So I promised myself I will to stay in the basement tomorrow from noon till sunset (or whenever my room starts cooling down...) !

Recently, I started on a new DS game called "Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3rd Story."
Because the two male protagonists don't look too appealing to me (:P) so I decided to go for the side characters first. So far I am having a good time with Konno senpai. Though he is supposed to be the "nerdy" type, he is nothing like a nerd in reality! I mean, he is stylish, and he doesn't carry a book with him at all time! He likes to ride roller coaster! He also has a favourite sport (skiing) and is good at it! So I think he is more like the "smart/ arts" (not fine arts kind of "arts") type!
Oh man, I am all excited now! Can't wait to see the happy ending, heehee ♥

I forgot to bring my watercolour blocks today, so I had to stick with pen and pencil...





As you can see, this model wasn't being very creative with his poses... Sometimes I would get very bored and decided to draw other people in the room instead... :P

The basketball scene was a challenging one to draw, simply because I am no fan of basketball and I don't play the sport either... But thanks to Youtube, I managed to find some reference videos to help me finish this scene.
