"Marie Antoinette"

I had a chance to watch "Marie Antoinette" a few days ago. If it weren't for the sets and costumes, I don't think I would ever watch this movie. I mean, the moment they played that piece of rock music in the beginning of the film, I kind of knew something had gone utterly wrong... And I was right: the plot is awful; a lot of things were left unexplained while some scenes/ subplots were completely unnecessary (e.g. the affair); there weren't enough time for character development either... For the full two hours I could only see one word: VANITY (which might be a more appropriate title for this movie).
