Nemo Pez 3D Model

It has a been SO LONG since I last seriously modeled something in 3D!  Last time it was like five years ago, when I was still in my second year at Emily Carr.  I remember I modeled a rubber duck wearing some pretty jewellery, and it was sitting on a table inside a vintage/retro-style room.  As much as I loved our professor--Rubén Möller--for being so harsh yet so inspiring at the same time, the content of the class was just daunting!  I remember by the end of the semester I swore to myself that I will never ever touch 3D animation again!  And guess what?  Five years later, here I am, taking a 3D animation class in Hong Kong with a Canto-speaking instructor who claims to have only learned 3D modelling for no more than two years and everything he knows was self-taught! LOL

Wisdom of the day: Never say never!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Just about two weeks ago I finally had the chance to watch "Tangled" (yea I know I'm SO SLOW right?) and I absolutely adore Rapunzel and Eugene!!  I think what captivated me the most was their down-to-earth personality; they are just so different from the stereotypical, perfectly charming princes and princesses alright!  And because they are so cute together that I think they should be officially labelled as the cutest Disney's royal couple in history ♥

Bad Days

A lot had happened in the past month and I have been on an emotional roller coaster for weeks already... I was planning to draw something for the new year but then I got too tired from work and other errands in life that I simply had to give up drawing in order to get more rest...  I knew I had the word "grumpy" written all over my face (just like Tard the grumpy cat) yet I didn't bother to do anything about it... LOL

In short, life without drawing JUST SUCKS.

WOW it has been a while since I last updated this blog! I actually did quite a bit of drawings last month but because they are still not ready for the public so I can't put them up just yet. Hopefully I can start sharing about them within the next two weeks. :)

Meanwhile, here is a banner that I recently designed for my church's sunday school! It actually took me three whole months to do the second revision--NOT because it was hard to design but simply because my life was too busy so I kept postponing it... =_= I hope both the adults and the kids found this banner appealing and useful... If not, oh well, it's done anyway! LOLs
